HISTORY
The Technical Construction Company “Alfa Lift Elevators” was founded by Mr. George Papadimitriou in 1972 with the vision of installing high quality and safety elevators. The first installation took place in 1974 in a residential building in Kolonaki.
The year 2007 was a milestone for the Company, as the children of the founder, Mr. George Papadimitriou, staffed the Administration. With excellent education, a rich resume and experience in large multinational companies, the Company’s development and recognition is sealed by its participation in major construction projects.
Today, and under the name of PAPADIMITRIOU A. & S.A. – ALFA LIFT Elevators, our company moves more than 38,000 people a day in the Prefecture of Attica and the rest of the Greek territory.

ALFA LIFT Elevators, provides a Guarantee of Good Functioning of the Mechanisms and any component of your elevator, on all new installations, for ten (10) years.

Our staff is constantly trained and follows all protocols to avoid transmission of the covid-19 virus. Also, our company provides its customers with the possibility of carrying out maintenance on their lift by appointment, the possibility of electronic payment and the installation of an ionizer, lift air purifier, for the sterilization of the air inside the cabin.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University of Wales (UWCC) and a Master’s degree in Building Services Engineering from Brunnel University, England. For many years, he has been an external partner of large companies in the elevator industry, as a Certification and Installation Manager, signing more than 4,000 projects throughout the Greek Territory and Cyprus. He is an expert witness of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and in this capacity, he has drafted expert reports on major incidents in E/M installations of elevators and hoists.
